Why my mother is special
With Mother's Day coming, the Butler Eagle asked second grade students at Penn Christian Academy “What makes your mother special?”
Here is what they wrote:
“I love my mom. She's married. She's fun and funny. She's really smart and kind and cute. And every body loves her She loves me and my family. She's a Christian and she's always there for me. She helps me too. And she tells me stories. I love my mom, do you?”

“My mom is special. She does not get to see me a lot because she works a lot, and that makes me sad. But I know she cares because she works a lot so that we can live. But when she is off, she plays baseball with me. I love my mom.”

She likes to have movie nights, we can eat popcorn and chocolate milk. It is so fun. She makes the best banana bread. I can smell it from miles! She also make the best vacation. Before bed, she reads the best stories. One is called Prince Caspian. I love my mom.”
