Perhaps you sent a lovely card,

Or sat quietly in a chair.

Perhaps you sent a floral piece,

If so we saw it there.

Perhaps you spoke the kindest words

As any friend could say;

Perhaps you were not there at all,

Just thought of us that day.

Whatever you did to

console our hearts,

We thank you so much

whatever the part.

Dear family and friends of our dad, grandfather, great-grandfather, son, brother, and uncle, Tom Sweeney, we would like to express our sincere appreciation for your love, sympathy and many kindnesses we received at Tom’s passing. We also want to thank Josh at the Bauer-Hillis Funeral Home in Petrolia for his help and compassion during our time of sorrow. We will never forget it.
