Cranberry Twp. Police10:36 p.m. Wednesday — Police allege a township man put his girlfriend in a choke hold in their home.Christopher T. Queen, 45, was arrested Thursday and charged with misdemeanor simple assault and harassment.Queen allegedly assaulted Rebecca Murner after she returned home from work, found him intoxicated and confronted him about not taking their 4-year-old son to preschool.He allegedly choked her, tore her sweater and pushed her into a bed frame. The boy was home during the incident.Queen is in the Butler County Prison on $15,000 bail.Thursday — Police charged Timothy R. Goerl, 31, of Freedom with DUI from a traffic stop April 10. He also is charged with speeding and duties at stop sign, both summary offenses.Thursday — Tracy L. Thomas, 50, of Mars was charged with DUI from a traffic stop April 9. She also is charged with disregarding traffic lanes and failure to keep right, both summary offenses.Thursday — Timothy M. Sherman, 25, of Mars was charged with DUI from a traffic stop April 20. He was also charged with driving without a license.

Lancaster Twp. PoliceMonday — Ellen B. Fowkes, 49, of Gibsonia was charged with DUI from a traffic stop April 23. She also is charged with careless driving and failure to carry a license.Thursday — Charges were filed against Jakob T. Zorn, 23, of Harmony from a traffic stop April 22. He is charged with following too closely and misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance and four counts of misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.

Grove City Police4:25 p.m., Thursday — A white male in a pickup truck approached a 14-year-old girl who was walking home at the intersection of East Pine Street and Campus Drive and asked her if she needed a ride. She refused and the male drove off. The male is described as 40 to 50 years old with brown graying hair and a medium build. The truck was described as newer, silver-colored, and with a cap with tinted windows on the bed. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Grove City police.

State Police, Butler7 p.m. Thursday — Laura Jean Walter, 52, of Boyers was involved in a single-vehicle crash on Boyers Road in Marion Township. She consented to a blood draw and was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital. Driving under the influence charges are pending lab results.5:14 p.m. April 23 — Christopher Donald Panza, 22, of West Chester, Pa., was charged with driving under the influence and other related traffic violations. He was involved in a single-vehicle crash while driving south on Interstate 79 and was arrested for driving under the influence.2:30 a.m. April 22 — A vehicle driven by Cedric Gene Shipp, 25, of Beaver County, was involved with a crash on New Castle Road in Slippery Rock Township and was charged with driving under the influence and other related traffic violations. He drove away from the crash and pulled over to the side of New Castle Road one mile west of the crash. His vehicle was not drivable because of damage from the accident. He was found in his vehicle at 8:58 a.m.

State Police, Mercer3 a.m. Friday — Dawn Marie Cutshaw, 44, of Transfer, Pa., was charged with driving under the influence. She was stopped for failing to stay within a single lane of travel.3 p.m. Thursday — A hit-and-run crash occurred on the Poole Road segment of Route 2019 in Lake Township by an unknown driver. The driver lost control of the vehicle and hit fence posts for about 200 feet before going back onto the road and continuing without stopping. It is unknown if the driver was injured.
