Butler City Council approved these actions Thursday:

Agreed to install “No Parking” signs on the south side of West New Castle Street between Chestnut and Broad Streets on a 90-day trial basis

Approved a $332,084 payment to Thomas Construction and a $12,751 payment to Gateway Engineers, both for the construction of Centre City Parking Garage.

Accepted a bid from Woltz & Wind Ford to buy a Ford Taurus police cruiser for $24,345.
