Seneca Valley Art Department, Wind Ensemble and the Seneca Valley Academy of Choice Performing Arts Department are collaborating to present a work of art at 7:30 p.m. May 5 in the intermediate high school auditorium. The event will include poetry, dance, art and music based on a transcription of Carl Orff’s “Carmina Burana.” The Seneca Valley Symphonic Band and Freshman Band will also be performing. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students.
Maridon Museum, 322 N. McKean St., continues its film series about India with “The World of Apu” presented by Ken Harris at 6 p.m. today. Admission is free but reservations are required. Call 724-282-0123. The 2012 film “Kahaani” will be presented at 6 p.m. May 5. Gallery hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesdays through Saturdays. Admission is $4 for adults, $3 for senior citizens and students, and free for children younger than 8 accompanied by an adult.
