Dolores J. Polanec

Dolores J. Polanec, 76, of Butler passed away Monday at her home, surrounded by her family.

Born April 25, 1940, in Butler, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Dorothy (Turkalj) Kreinbucher.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Fidelis Roman Catholic Church in Meridian, where she was a member of the Christian Mothers Guild. She was also a member of the church choir. She was strong in her faith and enjoyed her family, children and grandchildren.

Surviving is her husband, Isadore Polanec, who she married Sept. 22, 1962; her four children, Marianne Polanec of Butler, David Polanec of Maryland, Gregory Polanec of Butler and Karen (Gary) Wible of Butler; two grandsons, Nathan and Mathew Wible; his sister, Julia Ann Kreinbucher of Butler; and his brother, Charles J. (Mary) Kreinbucher of Butler; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Dorothy Kreinbucher.

POLANEC — Friends of Dolores J. Polanec, who died Monday, April 25, 2016, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday from St. Fidelis Roman Catholic Church, 125 Buttercup Road, Meridian, with the Rev. James Murphy, pastor, to officiate.Entombment will follow at the Calvary Mausoleum in Butler.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the St. Fidelis Church Choir.
