BUTLER CHURCH OF THE NAZARENE

Butler Church of the Nazarene, 4410 Oakdale Road and Route 68, will have special music Sunday from Pastor Millie Martsolf.

A revival with the Rev. Brian Burke will continue through Sunday morning. Evening services are at 7 p.m. There will be a potluck dinner after the Sunday morning service.

Several of our friends and family who have passed will be placed on the Memorial Roll during the Sunday morning service.

CHRIST COMMUNITY UNITED METHODIST

The Bikes to Hope committee of Christ Community United Methodist Church, 205 N. Duffy Road, will meet at 7 p.m. today.

Treats and Trivia will be at 7 p.m. Friday. Beverages will be provided.

A potluck lunch will be at noon Sunday. Take a dish to share. Table service and beverages will be provided.

Election Day bake sale items should be delivered at the church by Monday.

CHRIST'S OUTREACH

Christ’s Outreach Church, 120 Walker Ave., will have a men’s breakfast at 8:30 a.m. Saturday at Mac’s Route 8 Café, 16 Pittsburgh Road.

Fred Kison will be the guest speaker at the Sunday worship service.

The Sunday evening pickup basketball game for recovering addicts will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Use the entry at the ramp door of the gym.

COMMUNITY LIFE

Community Life Church holds service at McQuistion Elementary School.

There will not be a Laundromat ministry outing on Sunday.

COVENANT PRESBYTERIAN

Covenant Presbyterian Church, 230 E. Jefferson St., has installed an automatic external defibrillator unit (AED). Joe Nemmer and Ione Mathias will provide a demonstration and training session Sunday at the fellowship hour following the worship service.

The noisy offering of loose change will be received during the Sunday worship service.

FIRST BAPTIST OF EVANS CITY

The Foundation men’s ministry of First Baptist Church of Evans City, 242 S. Washington St., Evans City, will meet at 7 a.m. Saturday at the church.

GLADE RUN UNITED PRESBYTERIAN

Glade Run United Presbyterian Church, 1091 Pittsburgh Road, Valencia, will have a cleanup day beginning at 8 a.m. Saturday. Volunteers should take shovels, rakes, gloves and yard-cleaning tools. The rain date will be May 7.

There will be only one service Sunday at 10:30 a.m.

GRACE @ CALVARY LUTHERAN

Grace @ Calvary Lutheran Church, 123 E. Diamond St., will have a 9 a.m. Saturday property committee work day. It will include outdoor yard cleanup and other tasks.

Grace’s Closet, a free clothing bank, will be open from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday.

The evangelism and stewardship committee will meet at 11:30 a.m. Sunday to plan activities for the year.

There will be a planning meeting for GLOW at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.

GRACEWAY

GraceWay meets at the Center Township Elementary School on Mercer Road.

Michelle Huff and Tabitha Snyder will provide the special music in the Sunday worship service.

Spring adult Bible study will meet from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. each Wednesday through May 11 at the Trinity Presbyterian Church, 107 Staley Ave.

MARS UNITED PRESBYTERIAN

The session of Mars United Presbyterian Church, 232 Crowe Ave., Mars, will meet at 7 p.m. today in the board room.

The middle school youth group will meet for Game Day at noon Saturday at the church.

The Rev. Bill Jackson will meet with the middle school and high school youth group at 5:30 and 7 p.m. Sunday.

The deacons and Griefshare will meet at 7 p.m. Monday.

The fiber arts group will meet at 10 a.m. April 28.

OLD UNION PRESBYTERIAN

The youth group will lead worship Sunday at Old Union Presbyterian Church, 200 Union Church Road, Mars.

RIDER LUTHERAN

Rider Lutheran Church, 189 Rider Church Road, West Sunbury, will have a pickle jar collection Sunday.

The Bible study will meet at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.

SAINT ANDREWS UNITED PRESBYTERIAN

Saint Andrews United Presbyterian Church, 201 E. Jefferson St., will receive donations of cereal, macaroni and cheese, graham crackers, fruit salad, baby food and other nonperishable food for the Covenant Food Cupboard. Leave donations in the grocery cart in the narthex.

ST. MARK'S EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN

The youth of St. Mark’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 201 W. Jefferson St., will meet at 6 p.m. Sunday to roll meatballs for the spaghetti dinner May 1.

The Red Cross blood drive will begin at noon Tuesday in the fellowship hall.

TRINITY LUTHERAN

The Mutual Ministry of Trinity Lutheran Church, 120 Sunset Drive, Center Township, will meet after the 11 a.m. service Sunday.

The Trinity Jazz Group will give a concert at 7 p.m. Monday at the church. Admission is free. There will be an offering to benefit the Community Health Clinic.

There will be an Election Day pasta dinner from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the church.

The Lutheran Sisters will meet at Mac’s Route 8 Café, 16 Pittsburgh Road, at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday.

The worship and music ministry will meet at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.
