Donald Carlyle Coleman, 76, of Sarver passed away Sunday in Butler Health System.

Born April 19, 1939, in Gilpin Township, Pa., he was the son of the late Jess L. and Mary H. (Mamros) Coleman.

Donald was employed as a truck driver for McClymonds Trucking. He also served with the U.S. Navy.

Donald attended Saxonburg Memorial Presbyterian Church, Saxonburg, and he enjoyed fishing, gardening, going to auctions, reading and spending time with family and his faithful companion, Bubba.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley J. (Goldscheitter) Coleman of Sarver; his daughters, Vicky Coleman of Kittanning, Kimberly Tanner of Florida, Carol Wetzel of Saxonburg, Melissa Coleman of Sarver, Mary Jo Coleman of Butler, Georgetta Coleman of Butler and Carrie Coleman of Butler; his sons, Donald A. Coleman of Colorado and Jess L. Coleman (Julie) of Virginia; 17 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and his sister, Georgetta Roach (Jim) of Allegheny Township.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Bradli Coleman, who died while serving our country.

COLEMAN — Friends of Donald Carlyle Coleman, who died Sunday, April 3, 2016, welcomed by his family Tuesday and from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. today at Clawson Funeral & Cremation Center, 170 Main St., Leechburg, where funeral ceremonies will be at 11 a.m. Thursday with the Rev.
