Butler baseball team whips Mt. Lebo

Butler (2-0) used a five-run second inning to put away a road game against Mount Lebanon and cruise to a 10-1 baseball win Wednesday night.

Jefferson Ford had two singles, a double and two RBI for Butler. Connor Ollio contributed a double and two RBI, Nathan Kibbie a single and two RBI.

Ollio, Sam Gross and Nicholas Kibbie all scored two runs for the Tornado, who play Ellwood City Friday at Kelly Automotive Park.

Jen Miller and Alex Graham both hit two-run home runs as the Butler softball team downed Brashear 10-6.

Miller went 3-for-4 and Graham also picked up the win in the circle with eight strikeouts.

Anna Heade and Noel Pfabe also went 3-for-4 in the win for the Tornado (1-1).
