Normajean “NJ” Portman Leyland
Normajean “NJ” Portman Leyland, 85, of Butler passed away March 21, surrounded by her family.
Her zest for life included skiing, travel and life on the farm. She had great compassion for others and worked for several years as a registered nurse.
Normajean was cherished by many, most of all her six children, Jeff (Sam), Kevin, Kim, Dana, Todd (Sonia) and Jon; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three siblings, Lorraine McDevitt and Richard and AJ Portman; and numerous extended family members, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy, in 2005.
