Ermania "Ermie" Kelly

Ermania “Ermie” Kelly, 95, of Butler passed away Monday at Good Samaritan Hospice at Concordia.

Born in Butler Nov. 25, 1920, she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Margherita Giovannini Laborie.

Ermie was a member of Saint Paul Roman Catholic Church. She also was a member of Saint Paul Catholic Women and Christian Mothers, Second Half Club at Saint Paul Church, Knights of Columbus Auxiliary, Order of Alhambra 131 Jean Caravan, American Legion Post 117, and Butler Bocce Association.

She volunteered at the VA Medical Center in Butler and at Saint Vincent DePaul Society.

Ermie was a Eucharistic Minister at Butler Memorial Hospital. She served as an election poll worker for many years.

She is survived by three sons, Paul W. Kelly and his wife, Joyce, of Chicora, Earl E. Kelly, Jr. and his fiancé, Kelly Tilger, of Butler, and Jeffrey J. Kelly, of Butler; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl E. Kelly, Sr., who passed away May 18, 2005; two brothers; three sisters; and one grandson.

KELLY — Friends of Ermania “Ermie” Kelly, who passed away Monday, March 28, 2016, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 429 Center Ave., Butler.A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at Saint Paul Roman Catholic Church. Burial will take place in Calvary Cemetery.Members of St. Paul Catholic Women and Christian Mothers will meet to recite the rosary at 9:35 a.m. Thursday at the church.For information, visit www.martinfh.net.
