Hegedus, Gibson lift KC girls, 54-45

Emily Hegedus scored 18 points and LeeAnn Gibson added 17 as the Karns City girls basketball team downed Redbank Valley 54-45 Tuesday night.

Mackenzie Craig added 12 points and also grabbed 12 rebounds for the Gremlins (20-2), who will play North Clarion at 8 p.m. Friday in the KSAC Championship game at Clarion University.
