Luke and Lauren Bumgardner

Lauren Elizabeth Butch of Butler and Luke William Bumgardner of Wexford were united in marriage Aug. 15 at Saints John and Paul Roman Catholic Church in Sewickley. The Rev. Joseph R. McCaffrey officiated. A reception followed at the Oakmont Country Club in Oakmont.

The bride is the daughter of David and Constance Butch of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are Judy Bumgardner of Conway and Mark and Ellen Bumgardner of Warrenton.

The honor attendant was Cecily Schmitt of Latrobe. Bridesmaids included Kendall Butch of Wexford, Andrea Cuffman of Wexford, Nikki Nguyen of Glenshaw, Amanda Adams of Estero, Fla., and Taylor Barth of Poway, Calif.

The flower girls were Madelyn Conrad of Cranberry Township and Alessia Schmitt of Latrobe.

Performing the duties of best man was John Tumulty of Taneytown, Md. Ushers included Matthew Trummer of Columbus, Ohio, Lee DeHaven of Conway, Alan Calvin of Vine Grove, Ky., Ken Palmer of Pittsburgh and Derek Goncz of Meadville.

The ring bearers were Mason Cuffman of Wexford and Ashton Horne of Glenshaw.

The bride is a 2003 graduate of Butler High School and a 2008 graduate of Duquesne University.

She is a product manager for Thermo Fisher Scientific.

The bridegroom graduated from Freedom High School in 2005 and from Robert Morris University in 2009.

He is a regional account manager for Medtronic.

Following a honeymoon trip to Maui, Hawaii, the couple is making their home in Wexford.
