Butler Twp Police6:27 a.m. Friday — A vehicle driven by Clayton Craft, 57, of Grove City rear-ended another vehicle on Route 68 at Meridian Road. The other driver, Larry Wydrenski, 42, of Pittsburgh was stopped at a red light. Police said Craft drove away after the crash but was eventually stopped at the 7-Eleven store on Hansen Avenue. No charges were immediately filed.

Grove City PoliceMonday — Police charged Jerry B. Hobbs IV, 21, of Grove City in connection with a theft-related investigation Jan. 29 in the areas of Stewart Avenue, and Superior, South Center and West Main streets. Hobbs is charged with loitering and prowling at night and theft from a vehicle.Monday — Someone broke into a vehicle on the 400 block of West Poplar Street. Nothing was taken but the contents were strewn throughout the vehicle.Sunday — About $3 worth of change was stolen from an unlocked vehicle at a home on Overhill Street. The theft happened between 9:40 p.m. Saturday and 2:20 p.m. Sunday. Anyone with information is to call 724-458-7925.11:24 p.m. Saturday — Brian C. Kelly, 24, of Slippery Rock was arrested for drunken driving at East Main and Liberty streets. In addition to driving under the influence, Kelly is charged with driving without headlights on.4:47 p.m. Saturday — Miranda D. Bumbarger, 23, allegedly assaulted another woman during an altercation at her home on the 100 block of West Poplar Street. Bumbarger is charged with simple assault and harassment.8:04 p.m. Friday — Anthony Ruffo, 23, of Grove City was arrested for drunken driving at East Pine Street and Madison Avenue. Ruffo is charged with DUI and a stop sign violation.

State Police, Butler10:12 p.m. Sunday — A 38-year-old Chicora man was arrested for suspicion of drugged driving on Route 38, north of Mahood Road, in Oakland Township. The driver, who police did not identify, also was found with a small amount of suspected heroin.Police said charges of driving under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance are pending toxicology reports.

State Police, ClarionSaturday — Police arrested a 24-year-old Shippenville man suspected of stealing two all-terrain vehicles from a building on Huey Road in Toby Township. Authorities for some time had been looking for the suspect, who was wanted by state parole officers.Police did not immediately identify the wanted man. While on the lam, according to a police report, investigators believe the man had been staying at a camp in southern Clarion County. Police, however, acknowledged that they have not located the camp yet.Additionally, police said the suspect also stole tools from a shed in Limestone Township. Those stolen tools were later used to break into a pole building on Huey Road in Toby Township.Investigators have not pinpointed when the crimes occurred.One of the stolen vehicles, a 2003 Yamaha Kodiak, was recovered Saturday on Route 338 in the village of Monroe. The other vehicle, a 2007 or 2008 Yamaha Grizzly, has not been recovered.The suspect’s crime spree continued when he allegedly stole a pickup truck in Beaver Township. Police subsequently recovered the truck in Clarion Township.Police are seeking information about the stolen Grizzly ATV or the location of the suspect’s camp in southern Clarion County.
