Hazel Virginia Purvis

Hazel Virginia Purvis of Mars will celebrate her 90th birthday at a party with family and friends at Penn-Mar Plaza social hall.

She was born Feb. 10, 1926, in Mars.

Ms. Purvis was a beautician for more than 40 years and also worked as a companion and care giver.

She is a member of the Mars campus of Dutilh United Methodist Church and was a Sunday school teacher for 25 years.

She enjoys playing cards and bingo with her friends at Penn-Mar. Laughing and singing have been key in her long life.
