8:50 a.m. Sunday — A burglar smashed a window with a large rock and stole several items from a man’s home in the 300 block of Slippery Rock Township. Police released no other information while noting the investigation is ongoing.

9:10 p.m. Saturday — William J. Simmons Jr., 47, of Chicora was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on St. Joe Road, east of Fallacker Road, in Oakland Township.

12:17 a.m. Saturday — Denise L. Lorenz, 26, of Rimersburg was hurt when the sport utility vehicle she was driving rolled over after sliding off snow-covered Kissinger Mills Road just north of Conneration Road in Madison Township.

Lorenz, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered a minor injury. A 1-year-old girl riding in a child safety seat in the SUV was not injured.

Thursday — Someone broke into a home on Haganstown Road in Perry Township, Clarion County. The break-in happened between Feb. 1 and Tuesday.

The police report did not say if there are any suspects. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 814-226-1710.

8 p.m. Jan. 28 — Tina M. Milligan, 48, of Fenelton was hurt after she suffered a diabetic emergency and crashed her sport utility vehicle in North Buffalo Township.

Milligan was southbound on Freeport Road just north of Dutch Hollow Road when her SUV veered off the road and hit a row mailboxes. The vehicle continued south and struck a fire hydrant and an embankment.

She was taken to ACMH Hospital in East Franklin Township with an apparent minor injury. The Worthington Volunteer Fire Department assisted.

Police cited her for driving with a suspended license, careless driving and disregarding traffic lanes.

Saturday — Police are investigating a case of suspected identity theft in which an unknown suspect in May 2015 opened a cell phone account in the name of a Irwin Township woman without her knowing. The victim on Saturday learned of the fraudulent account and notified authorities.

Saturday — Someone used a blunt object to damage a woman’s mailbox at her home on Bell Road in Scrubgrass Township. A police report did not say if there are any suspects.

9:35 a.m. Saturday — One person was hurt in a pickup truck crash in Sandy Lake Township. Police said David C. Beers, 45, of Clarks Mills lost control of the truck on Route 358 just east of McKeever Lane.

Beers, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken to the Grove City Medical Center with minor injuries. Sandy Lake police and volunteer firefighters assisted at the scene.

Thursday — A lock box containing prescription medication and personal documents was stolen in a burglary at a home in Sandy Lake Township. The burglary happened between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. A police report provided no other information.
