3:15 p.m. Friday — No one was injured when a car and a Butler Health System SUV collided at the intersection of Brady and Monroe streets. The car, which struck the driver’s side of the SUV, sustained front-end damage and was towed. Traffic at the intersection had delays for about 30 minutes.

1:27 p.m. Thursday — A 17-year-old student was charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana after Butler High School officials received reports that she was attempting to sell drugs at the school.

The school principal checked into the allegations and found the suspected marijuana, police said.

12:45 p.m. Thursday — Michelle A. Kennedy, 44, of Butler allegedly was in possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia when township and city police served an arrest warrant on her. Charges were filed.

6:40 a.m. Jan. 30 — Marissa Ehrman, 22, of Butler lost control of her vehicle on the Picklegate Bridge due to icy conditions and struck a concrete center barrier. A 17-year-old boy passenger suffered a minor head injury. A 4-month-old passenger was not hurt.

Ehrman was cited for driving at an unsafe speed, not having a license and driving a vehicle without inspection. The owner of the vehicle, who police did not name, also was cited for vehicle code violations.

2:53 p.m. Jan. 26 — A 14-year-old girl is facing aggravated assault, simple assault, disorderly conduct and harassment charges after police were dispatched to Butler Intermediate High School on a reported assault. No other information was released about the incident.

6:30 p.m. Wednesday — A backpack and a laptop computer were stolen at Grove City College sometime between 6 and 6:30 p.m. that day. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Grove City Police.
