Amanda Holmes and Mark McDeavitt Jr.

A fall 2017 wedding is being planned by Amanda Holmes of Bridgeville and Mark McDeavitt Jr. of West Sunbury.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Ron and Maria Holmes of Bridgeville. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Mark and Jill McDeavitt of West Sunbury.

The future bride is a 2011 graduate of South Fayette High School. She received a bachelor’s degree in biology from Duquesne University in 2015.

She is student-teaching at Canon McMillan High School and studying for a master’s degree in secondary education.

Her fiance graduated in 2010 from Moniteau High School.

He is a fourth-year apprentice with his employer, Steamfitters Local 449.
