State Police, Butler6:35 a.m. Friday — A pickup truck driven by Jason T. Brendlinger, 21, of Freeport crossed the center lane of Route 308 in Clay Township and struck a vehicle driven by Derrick D. Cotten, 20, of Butler.Cotten, who was not wearing a seat belt, was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.7 a.m. Thursday — Brian Lawry, 38, of Slippery Rock allegedly fled the scene of an accident after he lost control of his vehicle along Route 8 in

Slippery Rock Township.Police said Lawry called his father, who owned the car, to tell him about the crash and that he was not injured.The car was towed from the scene. Police believe Lawry fled because he has an active arrest warrant. Summary traffic violations were filed against him.12:30 p.m. Wednesday — Daniel Koebler, 60, of Slippery Rock reported unknown suspects used a crowbar to break into his residential building in Harrisville. The suspect stole a new lawn mower still in its factory box valued at $500. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police at 724-284-8100.
