Olexsak, Robison

Sarah and Jacob Robison

Sarah Olexsak and Jacob Robison, both of Washington, D.C., were united in marriage Oct. 10 at St. Christopher Roman Catholic Church in Prospect. The Rev. Philip Farrell officiated. A celebratory ceremony and reception followed the next day at the Barn at Soergel Hollow.

The bride is the daughter of Timothy and Mariellen Olexsak of Connoquenessing. Parents of the bridegroom are John and Robin Robison of Lyndora.

The maid of honor was Lauren Lombardo of Astoria, N.Y. Ladies participating in the ceremony included Kristin Olexsak of Hartstown, Ashley Pino of Connoquenessing, Rachel Schnur of Cabot, Ashlee Robison of Meridian and Harper Robison of Meridian.

Performing the duties of best men were Joshua Robison of Meridian and Jared Robison of Slippery Rock. Gentlemen participating in the ceremony included Jacob Olexsak, Lukas Olexsak and Liam Olexsak, all of Hartstown; Andrew Olexsak of Connoquenessing; and Scott Schnur of Cabot.

The bride is a 2001 graduate of Butler High School, a 2005 graduate of Muskingum University and a 2012 graduate of Johns Hopkins University.

She is employed by the U.S. Department of Energy in Washington, D.C.

The bridegroom is a 2001 graduate of Butler High School, a 2005 graduate of Butler County Community College and a 2014 graduate of the University of District of Columbia.

He is employed by Classic Glass and the University of the District of Columbia in Washington, D.C.

The couple is making their home in Washington, D.C.
