Grove City girls roll to 55-36 win

Hannah Santom scored 18 points and Alexis Deyarmin added 14 points and 10 rebounds as the Grove City High girls basketball team downed Titusville 55-36 Monday night.

Abby Fulkerson added 10 points and five assists for the Eagles (9-3, 1-0).

Vincentian Academy 66, Cardinal Wuerl North Catholic 59 — Sam Breen scored 31 points in a battle of the two top-ranked Class A teams in the state, but the Trojanettes (10-1, 5-1) suffered their first loss of the season.

Torrieonna Cash scored 18 points to lead Vincentian (8-2, 6-0).

Boys Basketball

Four Union players cracked double digits in scoring, but the Golden Knights fell to Venango Catholic, 65-58.

Lucas Bowser led the way for Union with 14 points and 11 rebounds. Hank Murphy (13), Cole Morris (12) and Sutton Varner (10) also reached double digits for the Knights (9-4).
