McElroy leads KC past A-C Valley

Moniteau boys fall in double OT

Ian McElroy scored a season-high 17 points to help Karns City's boys basketball team score a 71-42 KSAC South Division win over A-C Valley win Friday at home.

Noah Pollock also had 12 for Karns City (2-1, 2-1). Zach Muhl scored a team-high 10 points for A-C Valley.

Caitlyn Mueller scored 16 points, had seven steals and four assists to lead the First Baptist Christian School girls basketball team to a 42-27 win over the Western PA School for the Deaf.Shelby Poorman had seven points, 14 rebounds and six steals, Alexis Barnhart seven points and 10 rebounds.

First Baptist Christian School 40, Evangel Heights 33 — Shelby Poorman led First Baptist with 19 points and nine rebounds and Michaella Roth had eight points and six steals in the win.

Alexis Barnhart (16 rebounds) and Katelyn Gavinski (12) each finished in double figures for rebounds for First Baptist.
