The Slippery Rock University women's basketball team had no trouble scoring Saturday on the road against Central State (Ohio), putting five players in double figures.

Getting stops was a bigger challenge for The Rock in an 89-81 loss Saturday in Wilberforce, Ohio.

Junior point guard Lexi Carpenter scored a game-high 23 points for SRU (4-3). Erica Aiello (15 points), Audrey Stapleton (15), Ciara Patterson (13) and Megan Hardiman all scored in double figures for The Rock.

Morgan Henderson made her first collegiate start for The Rock and collected 13 rebounds.
