CRANBERRY TWP — A man was hurt Sunday night when a car hit him at the corner of Freedom Road and Commonwealth Drive.

The man, whose name was not immediately available, was taken to UPMC Passavant Cranberry with unknown injuries after the accident about 7:20 p.m. The injuries were not believed to be serious, authorities said.

Cranberry Township police are investigating but no officers could be reached for comment this morning.

The Cranberry Township Volunteer Fire Department and Cranberry EMS assisted at the scene.
