Shame on the Pennsylvania Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs for withdrawing funding from the CANDLE Reality Tour.

This program allows children a chance to actually see the damage and devastation drug use does to the drug user and every family member of the drug user.

Both my children and I attended these reality tours. My children would tell you what a great program it is. It is not a scare tactic. The program depicts what really happens with drug use.

It makes no sense for funding to be pulled and no alternative offered, especially when Butler has such a drug epidemic.

I urge the DDAP to restore the funding. I also suggest to all parents of school age children, to take the tour. It is worth it!
