School food drive fills up box truck
CENTER TWP — A weeklong charity drive by Center Township Elementary School produced enough food to fill a box truck.
The school’s PTO had the food drive from Nov. 16 to Monday.
Students at the school and their parents donated 3,142 nonperishable items that will be given to St. Vincent De Paul’s — more than double the PTO’s original goal.
The school has more than 770 students.
