Grove City PoliceSaturday — Zachary Cyphert reported that someone damaged the rear passenger side window of his car overnight. It appeared the window was shot with a BB gun, police said.Friday — Tanner J. Edwards, 25, of Butler was charged with theft by deception and bad checks after depositing and cashing a series of bad checks in August.Police said Edwards deposited seven non-sufficient funds PNC Bank checks totaling $2,600 into his Grove City Area Federal Credit Union account between Aug. 20 and 23. Police said that money was then withdrawn from the account and restitution was never made to the credit union.
