REGIONWednesdays@1 will show the film “The Longest Ride” at 1 p.m. Dec. 2 at the Kean Theatre at St. Barnabas, Washington Place, 5847 Meridian Road, Gibsonia. Admission is free, but donations are accepted to benefit the St. Barnabas Free Care Fund. Call 724-444-5326.

PITTSBURGHRangos Omnimax Theater at the Carnegie Science Center, One Allegheny Ave. beside Heinz Field on the North Side, has brought back “The Polar Express” and “Animalopolis.” Continuing are “ROBOTS,” “D-Day: Normandy 1944,” “Titans of the Ice Age,” and “Mysteries of the Unseen World.” The throwback film for November is “Jane Goodall’s Wild Chimpanzees.” Tickets for most shows are $8.50 for adults and $6.50 for children ages 3 to 12. Omnimax is not recommended for children under 3. Call 412-237-3400. The center will be closed Thursday and Dec. 20 and will close at 4 p.m. Dec. 6.
