Thursday — A 14-year-old Butler boy allegedly stole a video game from a resident on Autumn Drive. The teen was charged with theft and receiving stolen property.

Oct. 13 — Dustin Watterson, 25, of Lyndora is facing felony theft by unlawful taking charges after he allegedly stole $2,000 worth of items from the home of a person he knows.

Police said the items were mostly power tools.

Watterson was arraigned and released on his own recognizance.

7 p.m. Friday — Robert A. Biedenbach Jr., 56, of Summit Township was arrested for suspected DUI following a traffic stop on Geibel Road in Summit Township.

Police said Biedenbach was given a field sobriety test and was then taken to Butler Memorial Hospital for a blood test.

Charges are pending.

4:20 p.m. Friday — Maudie E. Cochran of Kittanning is facing retail theft charges following an alleged theft at Boscov’s in the Clearview Mall in Center Township.

2 a.m. Saturday — A 30-year-old Kittanning man is facing DUI charges following a traffic stop on Pine Hill Road in West Franklin Township, Armstrong County.

Police said the man, who they did not identify, showed signs of being under the influence of alcohol and was taken to ACMH Hospital for a chemical test.

He also had a small amount of marijuana and a smoking pipe on him, police said. Charges are pending.

1:05 a.m. Saturday — A 23-year-old Saxonburg man was arrested for suspected DUI after he was stopped on Route 28 in Harrison Township, Allegheny County. Police said the man, who they did not identify, was driving 91 mph in a 55 mph zone. Police said he was allegedly driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol.

Charges are pending.

6 p.m. Friday — A 35-year-old Kittanning woman and a 37-year-old Cowansville man are facing drug possession charges following a traffic stop in the Sheetz parking lot on Route 356 in Buffalo Township. Police did not name the suspects.

4:33 p.m. Friday — A three-vehicle accident occurred at the intersection of Route 422 and Saltwork Street in Elderton, Armstrong County.

Police said westbound vehicles driven by Elizabeth N. Hartzel, 19, of Butler and Leanne R. Smith, 28, of Elderton were stopped at a red light on Route 422.

A car driven by Crystal D. Corson, 47, of Ford City was unable to stop in time for traffic and struck the back of Smith’s SUV, causing it to rear-end Hartzel’s car.

Corson’s car had disabling front-end damage and was towed. The other two vehicles had minor damage.

Corson was cited for following too closely.

11:49 a.m. Nov. 8 — A 19-year-old Natrona Heights man was arrested for suspected DUI following a traffic stop on Route 28 in South Buffalo Township, Armstrong County. His name was not released.

Charges are pending.
