On Nov. 13 my wife and I ate at Valley Dairy. When we were finished eating, Rita, our waitress, said our meal had been paid for by Santa Claus. I don’t know if Rita or someone else paid for our meal, but I would like to thank them very much.

On Veterans Day, I went to Moniteau High School, where the students had breakfast for all the local veterans. It was a very nice breakfast and it was great to see all the students caring for, and thanking, the veterans.

I would like to thank Moniteau’s administration, teachers and especially the students for their hospitality and the respect they gave to us veterans on this special day.
