Butler County couples planning to be married over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend should apply for their marriage licenses by Friday. State law requires a minimum three-day waiting period.

All holiday weekend marriage licenses must be picked up no later than 4 p.m. Wednesday. The government center will be closed Nov. 26 and Nov. 27.
