The Butler County Community College women's volleyball team swept Pennsylvania Highlands Community College 25-21, 25-8, 25-8 Wednesday night at BC3 on Dig Pink Night.

The Pioneers raised $1,555 dollars for the Side-Out Foundation by selling T-shirts and admission.

Macy Smolic led the Pioneers with 7 kills, while Mary Romano added five more. Lexie Graham had a team-high 27 assists, while Alexis Schrecengost had a team-high 11 digs.

Women's soccerSlippery Rock University picked up an easy 4-0 win over Pitt-Johnstown at Egli Field.Dara Demich scored two goals for The Rock, which improved to 7-4 overall and 6-3 in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference play.
