'Freud's Last Session'
“Freud’s Last Session” imagines a near-death Sigmund Freud and theologian and writer C.S. Lewis one evening just before World War II.
Hobnob Theatre presents the show at 8 p.m. Oct. 16, 17 and 18.
The pair discusses love, war, sex, and of course, religion.
The play by Mark St. Germain features just the two cast members: Freud is being portrayed by Stefan Lingenfelter and Lewis by Justin Anderson.
Ken Smith is the director with Liz Smith as producer.
The 75-minute show with no intermission will go on at the Grand Ballroom at the corner of Main and Cunningham streets in Butler.
There will be a short question-and-answer session with the audience, featuring a Grove City psychology professor and area theologian on Oct. 16 and a psychology faculty member from Slippery Rock University along with the area theologian on Oct. 17.
Tickets are $10. Visit hobnobtheatre.com.
