5K race set Oct. 17
SLIPPERY ROCK — The “Come Together, Run Together” 5K race/2K walk will take place Oct. 17 at the Rock Catholic/Newman Center in Slippery Rock.
Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. with the race scheduled for 9 a.m. Fee is $10 and includes a freeT-shirt and a raffle ticket for several baskets.
The event is part of the annual OktoberFest celebration sponsored by St. Peter Parish in Slippery Rock. Visit rockcatholic.org for a complete schedule of festival events.
