CLARION COUNTY — A state police report early today incorrectly stated that a Harrisville man had died in a motorcycle accident.

However, Shawn M. Green, 31, did suffered life-threatening injuries Tuesday when he crashed his motorcycle on Route 322, according to an updated report from the state police in Clarion.

Green crashed his Yamaha Maxim 650 motorcycle near the intersection with Maple Drive about 3:45 p.m. He was taken to UPMC Presbyterian hospital in Pittsburgh.

A spokeswoman for the hospital said today that Green was in critical condition.
