Neff 50th anniversary
Francis and Shirley Neff of Chicora celebrated 50 years of marriage with family and friends at an open house at their home.
Neff married the former Shirley Barrington on Sept. 25, 1965, at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in North Oakland.
They have four children, Patricia Neff of East Brady, Cindy Anderson of Renfrew, Carl Neff of Chicora and Cathy Neff of Slippery Rock. Two sons, Alan and Ted Neff, are deceased.
They also have 11 grandchildren.
Neff is retired. He worked at Walsh Equipment in Prospect and at Pullman Standard. He served in the U.S. Army from 1961 to 1963.
Mrs. Neff is a housewife and works part-time cleaning the Huntington Bank in Chicora.
She is a member of St. Joseph Christian Mothers.
The Neffs are members of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church.
