Freeport girls win, 2-0; Raiders fall to rival NA
Kaylee Comperatore and Olivia Gasperic both scored to help Freeport's girls soccer team blank Knoch 2-0 at home in a Section 2-AA matchup on Monday.
Cassie Suran picked up the shutout in net for the Yellowjackets (6-3, 5-2).
Karns City 7, Redbank Valley 2 — Brianna Brusamonti tallied two goals in the victory.
Megan McCartney, Hunter Dittman, Haley Scherer, Hanna Freiters and Kaylee Smith also scored for the Gremlins (7-0).
Mars 8, Valley 1 — The Planets rebounded from their first loss with a Section 2-AA win over the Vikings at the Mars Athletic Complex.
Tori Kopchak (8-1, 7-0) led the Planets with six goals. Alison Scaletta and Dillon Wright also scored for Mars.
North Allegheny 3, Seneca Valley 1 — Carly Miller score the Raiders' lone goal in a Section 2-AAA loss to the Tigers. Seneca Valley fell to 7-2 overall, 5-2 in section.
