Moniteau falls to 0-3

Moniteau built a 10-point second quarter lead, but fell to Port Allegany 24-10 on the road in a non-conference District 9 football game Friday night.

Wyatt Ifft caught a 27-yard touchdown pass from Derek Boben to put the Warriors (0-3) up 10-0 in the second quarter. The Gators scored with 31 seconds left in the half to go ahead 16-10 and never trailed.

Stephen Fawcett also kicked a 29-yard field goal for Moniteau.

Union 34, A-C Valley 6The Golden Knights posted their first win of the season while A-C Valley remained winless.

CW North Catholic 49, OLSH 0The Trojans remained undefeated, building a 42-0 lead by halftime. Mario Latronica scored on a 72-yard run and Erik Taylor through touchdown passes of 36 and 35 yards to Isaiah Harvin and 37 yards to Kahlil Wethers.Keith Wells scored on an 11-yard run and returned an interception 18 yards for a score for CWNC.
