Roy Eugene Deal Jr.

Roy Eugene Deal Jr., 60, of Butler passed away unexpectedly at 11:02 a.m. Tuesday at Butler Memorial Hospital with his loving wife by his side.

He was born Jan, 6, 1955, in Butler. He was the son of the late Roy Euguene Deal Sr. and Marceda (Belle) Deal.

Mr. Deal is retired from the Butler School District.

He was a member of the Faith Fellowship Alliance Church where he served as a elder, youth leader, Sunday school teacher and started the van ministry. Mr. Deal enjoyed softball, football and golf. He loved spending time with his family and grandchildren.

Mr. Deal Jr. is survived by his wife, Lynn (Snyder) Deal, who he married Feb. 27, 1982; his children, Joshua Deal and his wife, Ashleigh, of Georgetown, Jonathan Deal of Butler, Stephen Deal and his wife, Amber, of Grove City, Erin Torres of Butler, Bethany Deal and her fiancee, Charles Hanson, of Butler and Daniel Deal and his fiancee, Megan Cardona, of Butler; eight grandchildren; his sister, Debbie Schulter of Butler; his brother, Terry Deal and his wife, Brenda, of Karns City; his sister, Kathy Deal of Butler; his brother, Dan Deal and his wife, Debbie, of East Butler; his sister, Marcia Grates and her husband, Dan, of Butler; and multiple of nieces and nephews.

DEAL — Friends of Roy Eugene Deal Jr., who died Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2015, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler.Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Faith Fellowship Alliance Church, 200 Faith Way, Fared Drive, Butler, with the Rev.
