Martha Lee Kamerer Bish

Martha Lee Kamerer Bish, 72, of Chicora passed away Friday at the Sugar Creek Rest Home.

She was born Oct. 9, 1942, in Sugarcreek Township, Armstrong County. She was the daughter of Floyd C. and Ella Ruth (Seybert) Kamerer.

Martha was a lifelong resident of the area and graduated from Karns City High School in 1960.

She was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church and worked as a clerk at Agway for 22 years, retiring in 1990.

Martha enjoyed crocheting, watching football and watching NASCAR, especially her favorite driver, Dale Earnhardt Jr.

She is survived by her sister, Kay Tirk and her husband, Joseph, of Butler; brothers, Donald Kamerer of Chicora, Larry Kamerer and his wife, June, of Mims, Fla., Randall Kamerer and his wife, Karen, of Chicora and Ed Kamerer of Chicora; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Martha was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, Edgar Allen Bish, who she married Aug. 23, 1969, and who died Oct. 25, 2007; and sister, Glenda Watterson, who died in 2011.

BISH —At the family's request, services for Martha Lee Bish, who died on Friday, Sept. 4, 2015, were private. Interment was in Mt. Pleasant Lutheran Cemetery, Chicora.Contributions can be made in Martha's honor to the Salvation Army, 313 W.
