Patrick W. Swesey

Patrick W. Swesey, 78, of Lyndora passed away Aug. 31 at Butler Memorial Hospital after an extended illness.

He was born Nov. 30, 1936, in Park Gate, Pa., the son of the late Edward and the late Ida Jane (Law) Swesey.

Patrick was a member of St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church, a life member of the C.B. Rangers and former member of the Butler Farm Show. He retired from George K. Garrett.

Surviving are his wife, Mary Ann (Pletcher) Swesey; their two children, Timothy J. Pletcher and Elizabeth J. Swesey, both at home; his former wife, Shirley Swesey of Ellwood City; and their two sons, Patrick T. Swesey and his wife, Debbie, and their family of New Castle and A. Michael Swesey and his wife, Beth, and their family of Ambridge; numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and a special niece, Judy Robinson of Texas City, Texas.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his father and mother-in-law, Harry W. and Jean E. Pletcher; and his former in-laws, Roy and Ida McKelvey; two brothers, Price and Paul; and three sisters, Dorothy, Donna and Darlene.

SWESEY — A memorial service to celebrate the life of Patrick W. Swesey, who died Monday, Aug. 31, 2015, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Mark’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 201 W.
