Geagan 65th anniversary
Leo and Mary Ann Geagan of Butler will celebrate 65 years of marriage Wednesday.
Geagan married the former Mary Ann McKissick on Sept. 2, 1950, at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler.
They have five children, Barry (Cathy) Geagan of Lyndora, Robert (Kim) Geagan of Butler, Kathleen (Doug) Ellwood of Butler, Leo (Kim) Geagan III of Ellwood City and Patrick Geagan and his companion Beth of Fombell.
They also have eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Geagan retired from Armco. He served in the U.S. Navy and is a member of Butler Moose and the Summit Township Sportsman Club.
Mrs. Geagan is a retired hair dresser who had her own beauty shop for more than 48 years. She worked at Greenlawn Burial Estates and was a manager there. She also organized bus tours for many years.
The Geagans are members of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church.
