Robin Williams

SAN FRANCISCO — Attorneys for Robin Williams’ wife and children were due back in court today in the ongoing fight over the late actor’s estate.

The two sides were scheduled to go before a San Francisco judge, as court documents indicate they remain at odds over the division of Williams’ personal items and a reserve fund to maintain Susan Williams in the home she shared with Robin Williams.

Williams’ children from previous marriages — Zachary, Zelda and Cody Williams — say the estate’s trustees have determined the division of all of Williams’ personal property, and those decisions are final. They accuse Susan Williams of holding on to property that is theirs.

Susan Williams’ attorney, James Wagstaffe, had said after a court hearing in June that Susan Williams wanted to keep items such as her husband’s slippers, T-shirts and some boxer shorts.

Robin Williams died in August 2014 at the Tiburon home. The coroner ruled his death a suicide. The actor’s wife has said he struggled with depression, anxiety and a diagnosis of Parkinson’s disease.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Mother-daughter country duo The Judds are reuniting after nearly five years to perform a series of shows in Las Vegas. AEG Live and The Venetian casino announced that Naomi Judd and her daughter Wynonna will perform nine shows Oct. 7 through Oct. 24 at The Venetian Theatre.

The Kentucky-born singers released their last album, “Love Can Build a Bridge,” 25 years ago and Naomi retired in the early 1990s due to hepatitis, but Wynonna continued as a solo artist.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The Tennessee Supreme Court is refusing to hear an appeal from former TV judge Joe Brown over a jail sentence for contempt of court.

In a one-sentence ruling issued Aug. 14, the court denied Brown’s application to appeal a Court of Appeals ruling from March, multiple media outlets report. The March ruling upheld Brown’s 5-day jail sentence stemming from an outburst last year in Shelby County Juvenile Court.

On March 24, 2014, Brown was briefly jailed after Juvenile Court officials said he caused an outburst in the courtroom while representing a client.
