Patricia and Donald Bickel

Donald and Patricia Bickel of Grove City and Largo, Fla., will celebrate 50 years of marriage with a trip to Australia and New Zealand.

Bickel married the former Patricia Geddes on Aug. 21, 1965, at Bethel Presbyterian Church in Slippery Rock.

They have two children, Michele Marie (Robert) Lagnese of Grove City and Daniel Kenneth (Jennifer) Bickel of Slippery Rock.

They also have three grandchildren.

Bickel retired from Slippery Rock University as a payroll manager.

Mrs. Bickel retired from Valley Community Services West Sunbury House.

The Bickels spend winters at their home in Largo, Fla., where Bickel excels in a professional shuffleboard league, and Mrs. Bickel enjoys reading and swimming.

The Bickels are members of Bethel Presbyterian Church.
