Taylor 50th anniversary
James and Alice Taylor of West Sunbury celebrated 50 years of marriage with a gathering of close family and friends at the Brickhouse in Butler.
Taylor married the former Alice Magill on Aug. 21, 1965, at Calvary United Presbyterian Church in Butler.
They have two children, Tracy Taylor of Butler and Tricia (Bill) Posey of Butler.
They also have one grandson.
Taylor is an attorney.
Mrs. Taylor is a retired nurse and housewife.
The Taylors are active members of Community Alliance Church where Mrs. Taylor is a church deaconess.
Taylor is a past and present board member of the United Way, Seneca Hill Bible Conference, Butler County Community College Foundation, Lighthouse, VNA and the Salvation Army.
Mrs. Taylor is involved with Stonecroft Ministries, and she is a past president of the Butler Junior Women’s Club.
