Sanderson, Hackett
Lauren Elizabeth Sanderson and Gerald Anthony Hackett Jr., both of King George, Va., were united in marriage May 23 at Westmoreland State Park in Montross, Va. The Rev. Rebecca Minor officiated. A reception followed at Murphy Hall.
The bride is the daughter of Cheryl and David Sanderson of Renfrew. Parents of the bridegroom are Amy and Gerald Hackett Sr. of Kinsale, Va.
The honor attendant was Jessica Lash of Annapolis, Md.
Performing the duties of best man was Dexter Monroe of King George.
The bride is a 2008 graduate of Butler High School and a 2012 graduate of Clarion University.
She is employed by Charles County Public Schools in La Plata, Md.
The bridegroom graduated from Washington and Lee High School in 2005 and from Cal Poly in 2009.
He is employed by River Gym in Colonial Beach, Va.
