John and Arleen Karman

John and Arleen Karman of Evans City celebrated 50 years of marriage with a family dinner.

Karman married the former Arleen Cupps on July 31, 1965, at St. Matthias Roman Catholic Church in Evans City.

They have four children, the late David Karman, Christine Zeigler of Butler, Todd Karman of Butler and Jennifer Vincent of Clarksville, Tenn.

They also have five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Karman is a mechanic.

Mrs. Karman is a homemaker.

The Karmans are members of St. Ferdinand Roman Catholic Church.
