ZELIENOPLE — The Zelienople Community Park will hold a Cornhole Tournament and Concert from 1 to 7 p.m. Aug. 8 at the park, 402 East Beaver St. Registration will be from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Concessions will be available. There will be an open mic at the amphitheater from noon to 3 p.m., followed by bands until 7 p.m.

The Butler YWCA Montessori preschool program will have an open house for new and returning students from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Aug. 11 at the school in the Monarch Building, 100 Brugh Ave.

Teachers will be available to answer questions and explain class options.

The school offers a four-day-a-week program and a two- or three-day-a-week program.

COWANSVILLE — Descendants of Joseph Felix and Mabel Clair (Vanleer) Hogenmiller will gather for the annual Hogenmiller reunion at 2 p.m. Aug. 16 at Sugarcreek Community Park, Route 268. The event will be held rain or shine and shelter will be available.

There will be a meal at 3 p.m. Take a covered dish to share. Tableware and beverages will be provided.

There will be a 50/50 drawing. Take a nonperishable item for the food basket raffle and a Pennsylvania lottery ticket in any amount for the lottery tree raffle.
