5:46 p.m. Friday — Tonya Schmidt, 34, of Butler was cited for leaving the scene of an accident, driving without a license and disobeying traffic signals after she allegedly sped away from a crash on Hansen Avenue.
Police said Schmidt’s SUV pulled out in front of a vehicle driven by Kaye D. Olson, 40, of Butler near the intersection with Goldwood Avenue. Olson was unable to stop and the two vehicles collided. Schmidt then drove away at a high rate of speed eastbound on Goldwood Avenue, police said.

3:01 p.m. Sunday — Amber R. Kastelic, 22, of Chicora was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and retail theft after she was stopped by Walmart Loss Prevention employees for allegedly trying to steal $14 worth of clothing.
[naviga:h3]State Police, Mercer[/naviga:h3]
7:15 p.m. Wednesday — A car driven by Denise K. Breznak, 48, of Stoneboro struck a deer on Hendersonville Road in Sandy Lake Township, Mercer County, then crashed into several trees.
Breznak suffered minor injuries.
[naviga:h3]Grove City Police[/naviga:h3]
July 19 — Rico Resper, 21, of Grove City was charged with theft of a motor vehicle and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle after he allegedly stole a Pontiac G6 on May 28 from a West Poplar Street home he also lived in.
The vehicle was later found in Poland Township, Ohio, the same day.
