BUTLER TWP — National Night Out’s 32nd annual event will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Lohner Park, 117 David Drive.

The event will include township police officers and commissioners, who will meet with residents, as well as a ceremonial first basket at a newly-installed basketball hoop at the park.

There also will be a police cruiser and township fire truck on site for children to view.

The event is an annual “community-building campaign” that promotes partnerships between law enforcement and residents.
